This character was created during my Creature Modeling & Sculpting class at Gnomon with Jared Krichevsky. The design combines African tribal influences with antelope anatomy, inspired by the work of Duncan Fraser, which really inspired me to take on a centaur creature. I studied African wildlife and cultural traditions to ground the design in authenticity, researching real-world tribes to weave those details directly into the character.
The project developed over three months, starting in the ten-week class and refined afterward. It was taken through a full game-ready pipeline—from sculpting and retopology to texturing and rendering.
